Published by Amadeus Press, this is the first extensive collection in English of texts, essays and interviews about John Adams and his music. With essays by Alex Ross, Michael Steinberg, Mark Swed, Ingram Marshall, Sarah Cahill, Edward Rothstein and Richard Taruskin this collection of critical articles, both pro and con, spans nearly thirty years of the composer’s activities.
